Vintage 2021

Current Wines | Other Vintages

Wines from the 2022 vintage. The year was characterized by heat and low precipitation from the beginning. Lake Neusiedl reached its lowest water level for decades and nature suffered from a great lack of water. A year like this shows that vines cope well with drought, because unlike many other crops, they were able to survive these extreme conditions relatively unscathed. In the fall, the weather became a little wetter, so that the grape harvest dragged on for a rather long time. With a little patience, we were able to bring in very good qualities, from fruity white wines to a Trockenbeerenauslese, which we managed to harvest in mid-November.
