Our successful wines.

Five wines, five medals! We are celebrating a huge success at the International Organic Wine Award 2020, as all our submitted wines were awarded with medals. Two of our wines were even able to win Top Gold and thus play in the finest league.

The International Organic Wine Award was created in 2009 and has since become one of the most important quality competitions in the organic wine industry. Every year, well over 1000 wines from all over the world are analysed, evaluated and described. This is where the top of the organic wines meet and well rated wines are among the world’ s best.

Among the white wines, our Grüner Veltliner Heideboden 2019 reached Top Gold, for our Riesling 2019 it was Gold.

Our first Capella - Neusiedlersee DAC Reserve vintage 2018 was also awarded with Top Gold. Gold was won for the Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 and Silver for the Canopus 2017, although the award-winning reds are not yet on sale, as we believe that they will improve with further ageing! Since they have already been so well rated, it is worth waiting a few more months for each of them, as the older vintages are already ripe to be enjoyed now.
