After the heat

Saturday, August 10, 2013

We had a lot of work during the summer and therefore there were no updates posted on our website for some time. Here comes a quick one, more details will follow in the next few days.

We survived the great heat that reached more than 40° C the day before yesterday. This extreme temperature effect our vines of course and we helped them by irrigation where possible. In other areas they had to get along with springs precipitation which luckily was plenty. The really hard time is over now tough and there even was some rain last night. It will be less than a month before the harvest starts and if conditions stay as good as they are now we’re looking forward to a good one. You’ll be able to find out more here within the next few days.
