Vintage 2024

Wines from the 2024 vintage, a year in which everything was simply ahead of schedule. It began with the earliest bud break ever recorded. Instead of the end of April, our vines started growing in March and this lead continued throughout the year. Apart from a few local hailstorms, we were spared any major damage and our vines were able to develop quickly in generally good conditions. By mid-August, the first grapes were already ripe and the harvest began, again almost a month too early. As we had not planned a Prädikatswein (Icewine, Trockenbeerenauslese) harvest this year, we were able to finish our work in the vineyard earlier and concentrate fully on the wines in the cellar.
