Vintage 2008

Wines of the vintage 2008, a really challenging year. The unsettled weather was a burden for all winemakers and even in autumn it did not get that much better. Careful and thorough work in the vineyards during the season and choosing the right time for harvest were key to the production of good wines. We could right away earn a lot of experience in our first year as an organic winery and looking back, we did not so bad at all. The white wines were throughout fresh and fruity. The reds turned out a bit lighter and not so full bodied than in previous years but on the other hand they were rather soon very drinkable.
