Vintage 2015

Current Wines | Other Vintages

A year to remember for a very, very long time. A great spring was followed by a summer that brought never before experienced, week-long temperature stretches of above 35° C. It was almost like we were transferred to a more southerly mediterrean wine region. The grapes ripened therefore very early and the their qualities were tremendous.

Light and fruity whites required an early harvest. And anyone patient enough could weeks later harvest overripe, beautiful and very sweet red wine grapes of the kind that develop into the most impressive red wines. Overall the 2015 vintage has the potential to be one of the best in many, many years!
