Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Current Wines | Wines from 2015

A bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon

The Cabernet Sauvignon is probably the most famous red wine variety of the world. Its demanding grapes ripen only in the very best growing regions and only there high grade Cabernet Sauvignon wines can be made. Fortunately the area around Lake Neusiedl ranks among these regions. Our Cabernets do indeed reach world-class qualities when treated by skilled experts. Since we prefer a milder style of Cabernet, our wines are typically ready to drink after only a few years and generally offer mild and pleasant tannins.

Tasting notes

Our Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 shows a beautiful dark red colour. The nose appeals with a characteristic Cassis aroma, ripe fruity notes and distinctive barrique flavour. On the palate it is tender-tart with a lasting finish.

Food suggestion

This Cabernet is just an ideal companion for roast, red meat, game or steak. It also goes well with cheese.

Ageing potential

Needs two to four years after the harvest to reach its optimum. After that it will be good to drink for at least 6 more years.
