Vintage 2012
Wines of the Vintage 2012. In our area the year was characterised by drought, a very early harvest and fully ripe grapes. Because of a very late frost on Mai 18th (!) and only little rain during spring and summer, the yield was below average. On the other hand the grapes were very ripe, healthy and aromatic for the harvest. The 2012 vintage thus joins the ranks of above average wine years for white and red wines alike, tough with a bit lesser amounts available.
